Dr Jason Brun
BDent (Hons)(USyd) GDipDImplant (CSU), BSci (USyd)
Dr Jason Brun worked for several years in private practice in the Blue Mountains, South Coast and in Sydney’s Hills district.
In 2018 Jason was thrilled to achieve his goal of opening his own practice, Shine Bright Dental, in Castle Hill. He always wanted to own a practice where he could look after the community he grew up in and still knows so well.
Dr Jason’s patients recommend him to their friends because he takes the time to put them at ease. They like how he explains treatments every step of the way, and they appreciate his easy tips to better care for their teeth at home.

Jason enjoys meeting new people every day and catching up with regular patients and the Shine Bright team.
When he’s not at work you’ll find him spending time with his wife Rachel (who you’ll also get to know as our practice manager), his young son and three dogs. He loves the outdoors — scuba diving or being out enjoying the sunshine, gardening and home improvements. He is also partial to a Dad joke – so BRACE yourself when you come in for your appointment!
Dr Jason graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Dentistry achieving Honours at Sydney University. Before this, he completed an undergraduate degree — a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Marine Science.
To be able to offer a wide range of treatments in-house to his patients, he has completed post-graduate studies in dental implants and cosmetic injectables.
Dr Jason completed his Graduate Diploma in Implantology at Charles Sturt University in 2016 and then the AADFA Fundamentals course to administer cosmetic injectables in 2019.
Dr Jason is currently available to see patients on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, Friday’s and works one Saturday a month.
